Terms & Conditions
Silk & Subtle garments are all proudly designed and made in Australia. Our garments are produced on a made-to-order basis in our standard sizes, as outlined in the size guide. The standard production time for our garments is 3-4 weeks, with shipping times in addition to this. We do not offer rush orders at this point.
We offer shipping Australia wide and internationally, with all orders sent via Australia Post.
Postage in Australia - We charge a $10 flat rate for regular Parcel Post, with delivery times estimated at 3-4 business days for metro areas, and up to 14 business days for rural areas.
Express Post is charged at a flat rate of $15, with delivery times estimated at 1 business day for metro areas, and 3-4 business days for rural areas.
International Shipping - International shipping is charged at a flat rate of $30. Estimated delivery times vary from 4-14 business days.
Customs and Duties - International orders may be subject to customs and import duties upon arrival to your country. Silk & Subtle ship on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, and are not responsible for payment of any taxes or duties incurred. This is the responsibility of the customer. Please contact your local customs office for more information.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES:
All our garments are made-to-order in a conscious effort to minimise our waste and environmental impact, and support local Australian vendors. Whilst this service commonly incurs a 'no returns' policy, we understand that sometimes a garment just isn't quite right, and we want you to feel supported in your online purchase. We have worked hard to put together exchange and return options that help us minimise our harm to the environment, and to your bank account.
Exchanges - We strongly encourage that you refer to our size guide prior to making a purchase; however, in the event that your dress isn't the right fit, we can offer a size exchange at a small 10% fee of the RRP. Return shipping is at the expense of the customer, and regular production and shipping times will apply for the new garment once we have received your return. Contact customer service to discuss the process further.
Returns - In the event that you wish to return your order and receive a refund, we support you, however we will need to reserve 20% of your refund to cover a small amount of our admin and production fees. Shipping fees will not be refunded, and return shipping is at the expense of the customer.
Faulty or Incorrect Items - If you believe that one of your garments are faulty, or that your order is incorrect, please contact customer service to resolve the issue.
Customer service must be notified of any intended exchanges or returns within 7 calendar days of receiving the order, and returns must be received within 14 business days of delivery. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss before posting back to the provided returns address. Please note that any item(s) to be returned must be in new, unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged condition, with all tags still attached.
Returns that do not comply with the above terms will not be granted a refund or exchange.
